Kids Crazy Island Tea Party

Free event

Saturday – Sundays, 15 – 30 October 2011

This October, Sydney Harbour’s Goat Island will be transformed into a magical food playground, when it hosts the Kids Crazy Island Tea Party! Families will be ferried to the island where they can explore a variety of interactive adventures, get their hands dirty making the yummiest of treats and picnic while watching live entertainment.

This free event is part of The Sydney Morning Herald Crave Sydney International Food Festival – a month long celebration of extraordinary food experiences.

There will be two sessions per day, however spaces are strictly limited so attendance is via registration at www.cravesydney.com

The Kids Crazy Island Tea Party will be held on the historic shores of Sydney Harbour’s Goat Island. Throughout time, Goat Island has seen convicts, stored explosives, used for military defence, a sandstone quarry and recently was transformed into a film-set for the Australia television series Water Rats.

The journey begins when families board a ferry from Campbells Cove and sail across the sparkling Sydney Harbour to Goat Island.
